🧠 The technique · Meta prompting

Write one prompt that writes all your prompts

The move that builds every niche. This "meta prompt" takes any local-business niche and hands you a custom, production-ready build prompt — so every vertical (and every real client) is one paste away. Open the lesson slides →

You are a senior prompt engineer for an AI web agency.

Given a local-business NICHE, output ONE production-ready Claude Code prompt that
builds a high-converting, single-page marketing website for that niche.

The build prompt you write must ALWAYS include, in this order:
1. ROLE — cast Claude as a conversion-focused designer + front-end engineer who
   specializes in THIS niche.
2. CONVERSION PSYCHOLOGY — the 3-6 buying truths unique to this niche (why its
customers call/book, and the trust signals that matter). Specific, not generic.
3. SECTIONS — ~12 sections, top to bottom, each with a one-line purpose.
4. DESIGN SYSTEM — our locked stack (Next.js App Router + TypeScript + Tailwind v4,
single app/page.tsx, SVG placeholder images, runs offline) + a palette and font
pairing chosen to fit THIS niche.
5. SELF-CHECK — a short checklist Claude verifies before finishing.
6. {{VARIABLES}} — leave {{Business Name}}, {{City}}, {{Phone}} as double-brace
placeholders so the build prompt is reusable per client.
Keep it a fictional, clearly-labeled demo (placeholder images, display-only form).

Output ONLY the build prompt, ready to paste into Claude Code.

Pick your niche with real data

Don't guess which businesses to chase. This research prompt ranks local niches by the numbers — and the live result is the data deck we built on camera.

You are a market-research analyst. I run a small AI marketing agency that sells websites, chatbots, and AI phone receptionists to local businesses. Help me decide which local-service niche to target.

Compare these niches: HVAC, dental, personal injury law, roofing, plumbing, med spa, home remodeling, and real estate (plus solar and pest control as honorable mentions).

For each, find the latest US data (2025–2026) with sources:
- Average job value or customer lifetime value.
- Average lead value / customer acquisition cost.
- Google Ads average cost-per-click for the core keywords (the "money is flowing here" signal).
- US market size and growth rate.
- How fragmented it is (lots of small independent owners = more prospects for me).
- Any stats on phone-driven demand, missed calls, or after-hours lead loss.

Then rank a Top 8 by how attractive each is for my agency, and call out which ones have the strongest case for an AI phone-receptionist or chatbot upsell. Flag any numbers that are estimates or where sources disagree, so I can cite them honestly.

A dentist portfolio website

The exact prompt to build a warm, conversion-focused site for a local dental practice. Copy it, then swap in your client's details.

Build a single-page marketing website for a local dental practice called "Lakeside Family Dental".

It's a friendly family dentist in the town of Lakeside. Personality: warm, gentle, trustworthy, judgment-free. Goal: get visitors to book an appointment or call.

Build these sections, top to bottom:
- A top bar with the address, today's hours, and a click-to-call phone number.
- A sticky nav: logo, links (Services, Meet the Dentist, Reviews, FAQ, Contact), and a "Book Appointment" button.
- A hero: a star-rating badge, a headline about gentle, on-schedule dentistry, two buttons (Book / Call), and trust points (same-day emergencies, most insurance accepted, financing). Add an image placeholder on the right with a floating "15+ yrs" stat card.
- An emergency banner: "In pain right now? Same-day emergency slots every weekday" + a call link.
- A 6-card services grid (cleanings, whitening, clear aligners, implants, kids' dentistry, emergency care) — each an emoji icon + a one-line benefit.
- A "Meet the Dentist" section: a photo placeholder, a short bio for Dr. Sarah Mitchell, and credentials.
- A testimonials section with 3 patient reviews (names + detail) on a colored background.
- An insurance + financing strip listing major plans and a membership-plan note.
- An FAQ with 5 expandable questions (insurance, no insurance, emergencies, dental anxiety, kids).
- A contact section: a booking form (name, phone, what you need, message), the hours, and an illustrative map placeholder.
- A footer, plus a sticky "Call now" button on mobile.

Style: clean and calming. Use a teal primary color on white, generous spacing, rounded cards, soft shadows, and a modern sans-serif font. Fully mobile responsive.

It's a demo, so keep the business fictional, label the form as display-only, and use placeholder images.

When done, tell me the command to preview it locally.

An HVAC company website

HVAC sites convert on different things than a dentist — urgency, coupons and financing. This prompt bakes those in.

Build a single-page website for a local HVAC company called "Summit Heating & Air" that serves Cedar Valley. Personality: family-owned, fast, honest, 15+ years. Goal: get phone calls and booked service. Remember: in HVAC, calls convert, and coupons + financing matter.

Build these sections, top to bottom:
- A top bar: a licensed-and-insured note, the service area, and a 24/7 click-to-call number.
- A sticky nav: logo, links (Services, Specials, Comfort Club, Reviews, Contact), and a phone-number button.
- A hero: a star-rating badge, a headline about reliable heating and cooling, two buttons (Call / Schedule), trust points (same-day, upfront flat-rate pricing, financing from $89/mo), an image placeholder and a floating stat card.
- A trust bar: Google rating, NATE-certified, licensed and insured, 24/7.
- A "Current specials" section: 3 dollar-off coupon cards (one featured) plus a financing line.
- A 6-card services grid (AC repair, heating and furnace, new installs, maintenance plans, indoor air quality, ductwork) — emoji icon + one-line benefit.
- A full-width orange emergency band: "No heat? No AC? We answer 24/7" + a call link.
- A "Comfort Club" membership card with a monthly price and a perks list.
- A "Meet the owner" section (Mike Reyes) with a photo placeholder and credentials.
- Reviews: 3 cards with names + neighborhoods, on a dark background.
- A "brands we service" logo-style grid.
- An FAQ with 5 questions (speed, cost, repair-vs-replace, financing, service area).
- A contact section: a booking form (name, phone, what you need, message), the hours, service-area town chips, and a map placeholder.
- A footer, plus a sticky "Call 24/7" button on mobile.

Style: a cool blue primary with a warm orange accent (the hot/cold duality of the trade), clean and confident, rounded cards. Mobile responsive, with phone CTAs everywhere.

It's a fictional demo: label the form display-only and use placeholder images.

When done, tell me the command to preview it locally.
